Doorways to Construction (D2C)
The D2C programme is an option for younger people interested in the Construction Industry. D2C is a Vocational Education and Training (VET) initiative set up by the Construction Industry Training Board in conjunction with the secondary schooling sectors of South Australia.
The programme is designed to assist secondary students learn about the skills in the building and construction industry and gives them the opportunity to experience the various career pathways within the industry.
Bardavcol have played a significant role in expanding this program into the Civil Construction Industry by working closely with Ocean View High School to develop the program, provide site visits and work experience for students and to provide resources to assist in training.

Work Experience
Bardavcol encourages students of all ages to undertake work experience to see all facets of the industry, and offers engineering students casual work during their holidays. This holiday work is essential experience for them to narrow down their field of choice and see how projects are run on all levels. Graduates
Bardavcol employs graduates annually in full time positions as project engineers. The work can vary from a position in the estimating offices to taking part in the day to day running of a remote site.
