Burrendong Dam Auxillary Spillway


The construction of the Auxilary Spillway at Burrendong Dam was to provide additional spillway capacity for extreme flood events.  The construction of the Burrendong Dam auxiliary spillway involves significant earthworks, with the excavation of thousands of cubic meters of rock required.  The design and constructions of access tracks required to withstand the load of heavy construction plant was imperative to the success of this project.
